We had some spread quite a few years ago.
They were more interested in getting rid of the gypsum than doing a good job spreading. They ended up with a real heavy spread for about 10 ft and then lighter.
I think it was 6 years later I measured from the field edge and pulled tests from the heavy and thin areas.
The heavy spread area still had way more sulfur.
You may wish to have your gypsum tested for heavy metals. Midwest labs did mine.
Mine came from an ethanol plant and some tests were pretty high. I can't recall the metal now.
Some of this was discolored and that is where the metals were.
They were sending some to the landfill and I suspect the truck didn't get cleaned out.
