Ag land is a clean blank sheet of paper for projects such as solar, battery plants, etc. to be built on. No dilapidated buildings to tear down or potentially contaminated soil to deal with. So it’s only 1% of the farmland, that’s no big deal, right? Not until 99 other things come along that each only want to take 1% of the farmland also!
