Subject: Anyone spreading 500ish # of gypsum for couple years worth of sulfate?

20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana
Contemplating spreading 500# of power plant gypsum to the acre ahead of beans in the beans/corn rotation. Thinking about using 3-4 gallons of ATS in my spring burndown/pre spray to supplement some on beans and then the next year run 6 GPA of ATS with sidedress for corn.

How quickly does sulfate leach? Would it leach quick enough fall spread ahead of beans to not be there for corn the following year?

That’s 90# from the gypsum. About 8# from the ATS ahead of the beans and about 16-17# with the corn sidedress.

That’s a lot of sulfate but will the gypsum sulfate be around the following year to help the corn?
