Northwoods Wisconsin | Calf was laying out in the pasture, the Dam's udder was large.
I saw no signs of trauma, rolled it over, no marks no scratches, no punctures, no hoof marks like it got stepped on.
It was very young, maybe only lived a few hours? It was dried off, clean, umbilical cord dried up. Bull calf.
I'm really interested why this calf died. Is there anything I can look for?
What if I cut it open - will the organs inside tell me anything? | |
