We put 2200 pounds of gypsum on it every other year on those kind of soils. You will be amazed at what it does i think. Just try a small area first to prove it to yourself. Keep the ripper in the shed! You will find in time the "quick fix" is counterproductive. We had to learn the hard way and i wouldnt wish it on anyone.
