Subject: RE: Automatic semi truck gear ratio

South Western, IL
We have 2 Kenworth auto shift trucks here.

One is a 2018 with a 13 speed and a 3.25 rear end. That one does seem to pull out of a field very nice.

The other is a former Beelman truck that is a 2021 model x15 Cummins 450 horse with the 12 speed endurant and it’s a 2.86 or something like that. It is also very good.

If that spec is good enough for a company like Beelman to spec all their trucks like then I feel it’s going to be a good combo.

To be fair though this fall was very dry and we haven’t put them to the test really yet.
