The gear ratios in these auto shifts work well with the lower rear end ratios. Lots of the auto shifts run a 3.08 or even lower rear end and they work well setup like this. Not uncommon to see 2.79 rear ends in these 12 speed Endurant auto shifts and they seem to work well. Myself for a semi for farm use I would go with the 3.08.
