SW MN
With the fuel we have today it varnishes just as bad as gas after sitting for long time.
Have experienced this, inside the pump there is a plunger with a roller on each end that is where the fuel for the injectors comes from and is also the adjustment for amount of fuel delivery. When the pump rotates the rollers move in and out on the circular cam, the transfer pump replenishes that fuel. When the plunger get stuck the rollers don't push back out against the cam thus don't deliver any fuel.
I have freed up a couple.
