I have the exact same head only new holland version of it. Came from a 3020 auger head before it and there is no comparison between the two. Again is it perfect? No probably not but when I got it set correctly I have a hard time believing how a macdon could be much better? This is in soybeans, it floats and flex's enough for our ground "here", Id say if you can pick one up in the teens go for it
