Vermont, IL | Being retired, I only have one tractor to mow with... a JD 6430 which is 115 hp. I pull my 15' batwing everywhere. A couple years ago I got some duals for the rear and I never take off the loader. I've gone up hills in pastures that I'm glad to have the extra weight up front and mow all manner of dam backsides and with the duals I don't even think about the danger of rolling it. Granted, I don't mow at 5 mph, more like 2 especially the first cutting. | |
