NW Ohio | I'm looking to put auto steer on my 1486 tractor, to be used for planting corn and beans. This is my first go around with GPS incorporated into planting, I do have an old Ag Leader PF3000 in the combine for the yield monitor, but it just does basic mapping.
Where I farm in NW Ohio everything is FLAT. No contours, hills etc. Would a Trimble EZ Steer system work well enough to plant corn? I'd still use markers, just looking to take some of the workload off on the long stretches.
