Subject: Auto Steer for IH 1486

NW Ohio
I'm looking to put auto steer on my 1486 tractor, to be used for planting corn and beans. This is my first go around with GPS incorporated into planting, I do have an old Ag Leader PF3000 in the combine for the yield monitor, but it just does basic mapping.

Where I farm in NW Ohio everything is FLAT. No contours, hills etc. Would a Trimble EZ Steer system work well enough to plant corn? I'd still use markers, just looking to take some of the workload off on the long stretches.

Thanks
