| I am still trying to find my sweet spot, so I’m curious at what rates people in Michigan or nearby are stocking their pastures as a general rule of thumb.
How many acres per pair? I’ve got Angus May-June Calving Cows.
A follow up question: On a newly planted stand of grass, after sitting and haying one year, assuming it performs well, should I stock it at full capacity year 2 or would you advise easing into it a bit?
Appreciate any advice.
