Pay off the operating note. I call an operating note a short term debt. I would consider a mutual fund a long term investment. Mutual funds go up and DOWN. I’d pay off the note, it’s guarantee return. I’m simple.
Yup, fully agree. I’d never, ever consider borrowing money to purchase securities, which is essentially what the OP would be doing, borrowing from himself.
