| Autopilot in the combine isn't the first place I'd put it either but, if we are talking MAXIMUM efficiency, as PER mentioned above, not many combine operators can keep the header packed full 100% all day every day for the entire season. Another reason for autopilot is managing compaction. From experience in a combine running autopilot i can tell you we spent alot more time attending to the yield monitor and the separator's operation. You can honestly see the difference in the maps. admiting of course we were using a much better gps signal. :)
