| SteveOH is exactly right. The Gorden bars revert a specialty rotor back to a standard rotor but can move crop through too quickly resulting in rotor loss. With my specialty rotor I run the factory small wire concaves. Sometimes in position 3 I will run my corn concave. Remember, most of the threshing happens in the first part of the concaves and they say about 80% of the seperation happens before the crop hits the grate area. I do run a Gordon Air Jet Chaffer with the removeable elements and just love it. Puts just the right amount up returns and sample is seed perfect without messing around adjusting sieve. | |
