SE MN | Had an infestation so bad they were running around in the daylight. Put out a dozen snap traps with peanut butter and killed 8 in a week. Put out sticky traps in corners and along walls where they run and caught a few more. Put several bait stations around perimeter of buildings and replace bait every few months. They get some traffic but the bait isn't gone. Haven't seen a mouse alive in over a year but still catch one in a sticky trap ever few months. It is a permanent problem, especially if you have livestock nearby. Was once working on a combine in the middle of a cornfield in the dark and a darned field mouse came running up like it was ready to jump in my toolbox. They never stop. | |
