A 3 gallon bucket of water and a bag of cat food open so that cats can get in will put them on auto-pilot for a week at a time. They won't need much food if they're eating mice. They also need some loose dry dirt for a litter box.
Any kind of bait solution requires the mice to be hungry and seeking out food. If they have a surplus of food available, you can't lure them into a trap. | |
