West Central Illinois | I’ve posted here before that it’s only my 2nd year with any wet bales. A neighbor custom wraps, we wet baled our 1st cutting of alfalfa, had them in 4 rows. I think 3 of the 4 rows we’ve had trouble with white mold on bales. We mowed one day then wet baled the next last spring, bales were wrapped same day as baled. Earlier in 5e winter a few guys responded that needed 8 wraps of plastic. If we wet bale next spring was planning on asking them to use that rate or wraps. Just asking again if anyone else has this happen and if increasing wraps is all that is needed to avoid this?
