Subject: Another test weight question.

SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

Spent the last several days emptying a 20,000 bushel bin of corn All of the corn in the bin was off of the same farm and was the same number. The first 15,000 bushel In the bottom of the bin, was run through my drying bin with the stirator and dried from 25 down to about 16 and put in the bin at about 110 or 20° the cool The last 5,000 was put in a couple of weeks later and the corn had dried down between 13.6 and 13.9 by then. The corn that I had dried down came out with a test weight of 57 to 58 lb. The 5,000 bushel off of the top that was dry when we cut it came down with the test weight of 61 to 62. Is this much loss in test weight normal with drying corn down?
