South-Central Virginia | Got a new Green Mountain pellet grill last weekend. Smoked a few steaks last Sunday and they were great. Going to cook two 7-8lbs Boston butts (from kids show pig, not much fat) for my dads 70th birthday tomorrow at 5pm. Planning on cooking at 225 deg. How long will it take them to cook? Low 70’s and rainy here, which is crazy for Virginia in August.
By the way also having sweet corn from the garden, baked beans, homemade ice cream, watermelon, brown sugar cake. | |
