Subject: Newspaper cutting back.....

Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa
Reading the Sioux City Journal this morning while having my breakfast (reading the morning paper with breakfast has been a habit of mine for over 4 decades) learned another thing in life will be changing around here. They said that effective Aug. 10th, they will not be printing Monday and Tuesday issues anymore, but will be available on line, as they are now already.

Maybe I will just have to start eating breakfast in front of the computer screen?

The Monday edition has been getting quite small the last year or so. And the newspaper business is probably hurting for several reasons, and they have to do what they have to do to stay in business, can't fault them for that.

Any other Lee Publishing papers cutting back the same way?

As Linda Ellerbee used to end her newscasts- "So it goes".
