ND | The Fargo paper quit too to something like Tuesday and Friday, claimed they didn't have enough advertising.
Last time I read it it was a solid 80% advertising, 15% garbage and 2.5% actual news. The rest I have no idea what to call, but the fact that it was mostly advertising just goes to show that Forum Communications Company wasn't getting as rich as they wanted anymore, since every other major town in the state has a daily paper.
Reminds me of a magazine,a" Popular", claimed they were going to put out better, bigger, magazine by going to every other month, and I have yet to see that, as when I started getting it, it was interesting and neat, and now its crap such as "how meatless meat will help the bison thrive ". I think they're down to 3 issues a year now too. Won a lifetime subscription long ago if you're wondering. | |
