ECIL | I quit getting the local paper over a year ago. It is published by Lee and is called the Pantagraph. I referred to it as either the Pantacrap or Slantagraph, chronically biased paper. Anyway, they offered a 3 month subscription for something like $2/week for the entire week. For some reason my wife got it. I did notice it had become even thinner since I initially dropped it. Fewer pages, sections, ads. I never bothered to read one article out of any received over the 3 months. Instead it went straight into the recycle bin or my stack I use for lighting the charcoal grill or fireplace. They do have a digital version. I have it go straight to the Spam folder. | |
