MD | New holland discbine blew another bearing yesterday. Literally the same exact thing happened two seasons ago and cost me $3000. It’s old. It’s a new holland 411.... doesn’t make sense to put that kind of money into it again so my question is. Since I don’t really make dry hay, and I don’t use a tedder anymore since I’ve started wrapping hay... how well would hay dry down if I bought a three point disc mower without a conditioner? I’m usually cutting one evening and baling 24 hours later.
Basically would it make sense to buy a new discbine? Trying to keep price under $10,000. Or would it be better to buy a disc mower and a cheap tedder or no tedder at all? | |
