NC Iowa | I have a friend first gen farmer getting started. Wanting to expand on cattle currently raising bottle calves taking them to finish. Doing finishing in dirt lots. Has anyone use fsa new farmer loan and worked with equip to get them under roof? Figured here would be the most experience. I tried to do my first land loan with them and huge pain and gov shutdown soured me on it. Went conventional financing. Don’t want to lead him astray by telling him a waste of time | |
