Ludington/Manistee MI area | Noticed the other day fence wasn’t working cows respect it so I wasn’t alarmed. If I touch the fence tester on the fence and a T post nothing, if I touch the hot source and to my ground rod nothing, if I go across the posts on the charger it reads full scale, today I undid the lines going out to fence and it was reading good. Hooked everything back up and nothing. Ground rod is a 4 foot copper rod. Last summer I thought I’d neaten everything up and use a old extension cord to run from my charger in the barn out to the pasture and I noticed the individual strands looked blackened. |
