Cullom, Illinois | So I’ve been using a killed vaccine for mycoplasma the last few years. I also started using the same manufacturers killed seven way vaccine. They are a small company and have been very helpful answering my questions over the phone. And they made a good point for the killed vaccine. The mycoplasma does require three rounds of shots.
The last two cattle feeders meeting I’ve attend the consensus was modified live was the only way to go. Now, one opinion came from the vet that Zoetis had on staff. But other feeders in the room said the same thing.
So let’s hear some opinions from you guys: killed or modified live?
