Subject: Primer/paint to use on mild steel with dry fertilizer

Northwest Illinois
I have a Case IH air cart that has been used for dry fertilizer. It’s been stored inside but the paint on the inside has flaked off over the years. I scraped all the paint off and wire wheeled. I plan on whiping with laquer thinner, priming and painting.

The cart is a twin bin and 7’ from top to bottom. I don’t really want to get inside to paint because of fumes. My options would to be use roller and long stick Or use a Graco barn painter with wand extension. Might try both.

My question is what primer and paint would be best? I was thinking of using an epoxy primer and the same white paint FS uses on NH3 tanks. I’m not much of an experienced painter. My uncle mentioned slip plate, but I’m not sure how that’d work with fertilizer. Any help is appreciated.
