Subject: Hot tubs and back pain - does it work?

NE Kansas
Been experiencing mild low back pain on a daily basis for about 5 years. I have been taking Aleve daily and don't want to risk a stomach ulcer down the road. Have been going to physical therapy recently to get some help and don't want to take Rx pain killers since it feels more like a long term issue. Would a hot tub help relieve tight muscles at the end of the day? Don't want to spend 4-6k on a luxury item right now with thin profit margins, but would if I can justify it as a health/quality of life expense. Any thoughts or tips from hot tub owners or low back pain sufferers?
