Subject: Lime: amount to use in no till vs. tillage?

Southeast Ohio
My recent soil test called for a ton of lime per acre. pH generally 5.8-5.9, CEC averaged about 8.

My question is: Samples were taken to a 6” depth, so if I decide to do tillage on this ground 10” deep should I stick to the one ton per acre suggestion or go 2Ton/ac given that I will work it into a deeper soil profile?

If no till, just stick to initial recommendation of one ton?

Rented ground. 5 yrs or longer
