Croswell, Michigan | I have a couple farms, lighter soils, ph 7+, low CEC that have several areas that test very low K. Yield maps virtually mimic soil test maps. What would be the best way to build up K levels in these areas. I had them VRT the K last fall, wondering if I should have waited and done it in the spring? Is all my applied K just leaching away? Ideas? Yields could really stand some improvement in these areas. To make matters worse the deer seem to gravitate to these areas, do low K beans taste better? | |
