| I've been using Ritchie float valves in my tire waterers. They work ok. They used to be the cheapest unit available here. Not so much anymore though.
I have a problem where during a cold night sometimes there is a skim of ice that forms in my float area and holds the float up. Usually just a touch and the ice breaks and everything is good. Not an issue except if we get a cold spell.
I came across these https://brownweightvalve.com
I figure the weight of the hdpe brick would be enough to break the ice layer I'm dealing with. Put in several tire waterers this fall and am looking to try a different valve setup.
Just curious if anyone has experience with them?
Thanks. | |
