Mom used to make dried beef gravy ( AKA - sh*t on a shingle). I was too young to remember exactly how she made it. We used to put it over toast or on special occasions , over cornbread. Did she cut the dried beef up and brown it with flour and then add milk??? I just can't recall. Thanks.
