Subject: Question on “tearing up” NH3 contracts

Like alot of guys, very little NH3 put on here in central IL. Posts below and some recent talk with neighbors have me concerned about the price I pre-paid for NH3.

Have always been able to get it on in the fall, past 10-15 years Ive been doing it anyway. So its never been an issue till this year.

Is the price I pre-paid back in Sept/Oct invalid come 31 December? Alot of post about tearing up contracts.....I pre-paid for all fert and nh3....paid in full, there is billing and statements but I never signed a contract saying I had to take delivery by 31 december or any other specific date. Also, was never told this was the case. Understand now it sounds like industry standard that the price is only good till the end of the year, but like I said....it hasnt come up before and i didnt sign anything to that affect.

Where do you think that puts me?
