Subject: New House, USPS won't deliver :(

Just moved into a nice farmhouse out in the country. 1/4 mile lane with a box on the end of it.

Waited 10 days for mail to get transferred and then called when nothing showed up yet.

They said they can't deliver because the mailman has to back up on the main road once he drops the mail off.
Said I have to create a turnaround spot near the box for him or pick our mail up in town. :(
Option 3 was move our box to a different spot but we don't own the lane to the spot they suggested.

They also said the lane was too long to turn around in the circle drive part near the house....

Grrrr.....
I guess what irks me the most is they gave no note saying to contact them and waited till I finally called.
Sounded like if they delivered anything just once they're required to keep delivering to it....so this was their one chance to make it easier on themselves.
