Subject: Buckwheat after Cereal Rye forage

Minnesota
Locals are growing buckwheat but wait until late June to dig and solid seed as its a short season crop and no weed control. Was thinking of seeding ARG&CR already this fall on corn silage acres to graze, but also thinking of drilling 20lbs ARG + 100lbs Cereal Rye Mid September after silage and forage chop in mid June 2019 and no till buckwheat into it. Buckwheat is $.24/lb shoot for 40bu.

West Central Minnesota.
