NC Iowa | i am in the market for a treadmill to start an aerobic exercise program. lots of choices out there. i would to get an ideas on important features, and then hopefully find a quality used one on craigslist, as they seem to be plentiful there. i do know i want something long enough for a decent length stride, and quiet so i can watch tv, internet, or listen to music.
i had a checkup today with an ekg and stress test. apparently i am in good enough condition for this. it took about 15 minutes to get to my target heart rate and keep it there for 1 minute. my first real experience with a treadmill . outside of farm work activities, i never thought of an exercise program. i see this as something beneficial that i could make time for first thing in the morning, if i could multi task with it.
