Subject: Trip report on Field conditions across central MN.

Braham MN.
I drove from the Twin Cities to Breckenridge Minnesota and back to st. Cloud today. Once you get west of St Cloud the snow decreases considerably, turn the corner at Sauk Centre heading west and the snow all but disappears. The only place you see snow is in the fence lines and Tall Grass areas, the fields are for the most part bare. There is some water standing in the fields but not much, low areas and areas with runoff. There's a definite line from st. Cloud to Glenwood straight to South Dakota and North that got no snow and will be pretty close to on par with their planting schedule. The fields are bare, 60° is predicted for next week, the soil will warm up plenty fast. I for one think we will be for the most part on schedule.

I even seen a few tiled field out in the Red River Valley that are starting to gray off. If it doesn't rain I would bet they'll be spreading fertilizer at the end of next week.

Pics are about 10 miles west of Sauk center.
