Working on setting up the GS2 display. Yesterday morning my brother plugged both of our recievers in on our GS1 system to check the hours that were on them. Both powered up and worked fine at that time. Later on I hooked the older reciever up to the tractor with GS2 and it said it was updating right away. I continued to drive to the shed where our planter was stored and the when I got there I looked down and it said that it wasn't recieving GPS communication. Now the reciever won't work on the GS1 system either. Did the update fry the reciever? BTW, it has like 8,400 hours on it.

Also, re. the guidance "track" names. Will field doc. store the different tracks used in each field and store them along with that field? IE- If I enter "west headland" will it store it  and be able to load it back up with that field, or am I better off just using my paper chart and numbering the headings in each field and then just loading associated number?
