Subject: Milking parlor options

I hope this is not off topic for this page.
I am thinking of getting out of my stanchion barn one way or another. What would be the best option? Paralel, parabone, heringbone? Are there any "lowcost homemade parlors" that work? Money is an issue and my old barn is about to far gone to use.
I am not impressed with the step-ups, maybe i am wrong about that.
We only milk 40 but the knees are still getting tired, not sure if this forum has any milkers but thought I'd try.
Thanks!
