| We are using a 15 knife DMI NH3 bar with a Hiniker 8605 flow control system and a FarmWorks PDA to variable rate sidedress our corn. We would like to vary the rates from 30# to 120#N. With our current toolbar-tractor combination we are only able to run as fast as 5mph. Last year we were unable to hit the low rates, 30#, because the flow control would flutter between open and shut. We have installed a John Blue Impellican distributer to even the rate across the knives. We could mangage 60# rates ok if we kept the speed up. Does anyone else know of an affordable NH3 flow control system that would be able to handle these low flows?
