Illinois | Looking at putting fall fertilizer down, but dont know whether to have the soil tested and put on a straight rate, or will the extra money I spend in grid samples and paying extra for VRT spreading let me save more money on fertilizer in the end? Has it paid for itself for those of you who have tried it? Should I be cautious about paying more for this type of application? I know they say you need to spend money to make money, but is it really worth it. I feel like the answer is yes, but I need some reassurance from others who have done it. TIA | |
