N.E. IN | My summer internship project is to create a system to open and close hoppers trailers at a grain terminal with the lowest amount of fatigue on the employee for insurance reasons but still increase efficiency at the dump. I was planning on using a manipulator arm connected to a variable speed impact. My concern however is the effect on the gears and straps of the trap door. I wanted to get your guys thoughts on whether you would be opposed to this being used on your trailer and if you had any other tool ideas.
Ps. I looked into assembly nutrunner but was afraid it would damage the gears when closing at the end because of no variable speed. | |
