Subject: fertilizing wheat at planting.....

west Tennessee
ok guys.. we have had the worst drought ever here in west Tn.
untill the last two weeks we had about 1.6 inches of rain since planting
situation # 1

APPLIED A 170-60-80 on corn ...... yielded 90 bushels ( do I need to apply more fertilizer to follow with a wheat crop? N P or K)

situation # 2

APPLIED a 0- 30-60 on soybeans...... many we will not harvest,, some will go 15 bushels..... ( do I need to apply additional p and k for wheat. or need more Fall N behind a legume?)

situation 3

APPLIED a 110-35 -120 on COTTON....ussually yields 1000 lbs.... now about 550-650 lbs.. the N was applied as UAN knifed in in mid june..... im sure alot of it is still there..... so can a raise a 70+ bushel wheat crop without having to apply a huge amount of fall fertilizer?

I know these are general questions... guess Im just looking for opinions...... Dave
