Southern Ontario | Mine is the first time I ever drove a tractor by myself. It was grandpa's old Farmall 300 tractor. It had no knob on the shifter so I had no idea what gear was what (until later in the day). We were out picking up square bales and I was running the wagon tractor. Thankfully I didn't throw anyone off. I was WAY better at taking my foot off the clutch than my sister, and still am thank you...
We had that tractor forever. Sold it in our consignment auction when we got out of the dairy business. Grandpa was sad to see it go but happy that he got almost twice what he paid for it way back when. | |
