| We have had a terrible wet spring and are just wrapping up planting. We have added acres and want to add a used FWA tractor in the 175-200 hp range. We currently have one tractor(FWA 200 hp) we plant corn, beans, and side dress with, and one other, high houred older 2WD to due occasional tillage with, as well as mowing. The time has come to be able to do more than one operation at once, as well as have a back up to our main tractor. Currently 1575 acres, 90% no till.
Don't want any color wars, I don't have a color favorite. We have a Ford/NH, JD, and Case/IH dealer about the same distance away, so would want one of those. Would have a budget, don't know what yet, probabaly 40 to 50,000. Really don't want to but a money pit. Would need 18.4 tires and closed center hydralics, with reasonable flow. Any advice would really be appreciated.
