Subject: Nitrate test

This is the first time I have had them taken. First test, fourth year corn on corn, dairy manure applied at the close to the barn rate. 0-6" = 23# and 6"-24"= 66# for a total of 89# of N. Second test, second year corn on corn after alfalfa, dairy manure applied at the little farther away from the barn rate. 0"-6"=50# and 6"-24"=115# for a total of 165# of N. My question is for a yeild goal of 175 bu corn how much N would you apply?
