Aberdeen MS | Going by the U of M recs, and this year I HAVE to follow them on select acres. 175 bu/ac yield goal is allowed 140 units of N. I do know they take into account OM of the soil but don't know what factor that they use to achieve that.
I do know on my high 3 to low 5 OM soils, I have consistantly over the last 5 years obtained yields from 160 - 180 from 140 units. Those are 15% moisture sold bushels, not 19-24% wet off the combine bushels. | |
