I lost charging on my 4020 ...I believe it is a delco with an external regulator....My question is ? Can an alternator be malfunction and still not light up the dash indicator light when running?The light works when the engine is stoped. The last couple of days once in a while the light would flash once for a fraction of a second and go back off. It worked for days after we saw that but today I had batteries go dead inthe feild on me.
